What is Mauna Diksha, and why?
‘Diksha’ means invoking your own innate nature. Your true self is seeded and instilled with Silence. This seed sprouts and finds its expression, depending on how you surrender to it. The way you surrender is the way you transform. The way you transform paves the way for your liberation. This seed is of the ‘Mauna’ (Silence), which will help grow your consciousness organically towards Self-realisation.
Will Online Diksha be effective?
Yes! In this, only sincere and serious seekers are initiated. Here, there's no Guru, there's no disciple, there's no time or space, nor distance. It's that One Divine Source functioning in a miraculous way of offering this 'Diksha' using the Acharya as a channel and medium to instill the seed of Silence in you. Any number of seekers have been initiated in this way by the Gurus from a distance since ancient times.
What’s next, after Mauna Diksha?
After taking the Mauna Diksha, one must complete a mandala, which means
one will sit in simple, surrendered Silence for 48 days, without a break every morning. It is strongly recommended that one join during the early morning, online Brahmamuhurtam Silence Sitting (4 am – 6 am, IST). The 48-day mandala requires sitting for at least 21 minutes. These 21 minutes of daily sitting have to be done consistently at a fixed time every day, as per the committed time by the individual.
When can I take the 3-Day Online Silent Retreat?
An individual who completes the 48-day Mauna Diksha mandala will be eligible for the 3-Day Online Silent Retreat. This 3-Days Online Silent Retreat will help one to establish oneself in Nidhidhyasana (Self-enquiry). Prolonged Nidhidhyasana leads one into ‘Jnana-nistha’ (Self-abidance). Continuous Self-abidance blesses one into ‘Ekanta’ (Solitude), which finally leads one to Self-realisation.
